Permitted PC Starting Classes
Barbarian
Most Yrazul barbarians are humans, hobgoblins or half-hobgoblins or Ice Elves. They come from the lower isles.

Cleric
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Druid
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Fighter
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Monk
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Ranger
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Rogue
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Sorceror
As in the Player’s Handbook.
Specialist Sorcerors
Most Sorcerors in Yrazul find themselves better in one or two schools of magic. Use the Specialist Wizards rules from the Players Handbook, with the following exceptions:

Only Redemptionist members who meet their guild requirements can specialize, or even take spells from the Necromancy school.
Sorcerors who specialize in a single school of magic gain the following benefits:

Necromancers
There are two types of Necromancers in Yrazul – those who draw their powers from the Positive Plane of Energy, and those who draw from the Negative Plane of Energy. Only the Redemptionist Builders have the training and ability to draw their power from the Positive Plane of Energy, and are the only type of Necromancer allowed to players.

The following classes
are not permitted to player characters:
Wizards - All Arcane Magic in Yrazul is spontaneous, therefore the wizard class is irrelevant.
Psions - All Magic in Yrazul is derived from The Lady, not from within. Psionics do not exist within Yrazul.
