Each of the six Houses of [[Telarus]] has a detachment of loyal house guards serving as part of the [[Ironnesse]] City Guard, per the terms of the [[TreatyoftheWell Treaty of the Well]]. These guard are only lightly armed and armored, but are well trained. The House of Lotun Guard are well trained in using twin whips. They are loyal first to the House of Lotun, and secondly to the city.>>
