The House of Devin was one of the original nine houses of [[Telarus]]. They originally controlled the lands between the [[HouseHillar House of Hillar]] and the [[HouseAston House of Aston]] in the northern part of the isle. In the 20th [[YearoftheLady Year of the Lady]], they began a border dispute with the [[HouseHillar House of Hillar]] over grazing rights for their goats. This conflict became known as the [[GoatWar Goat War]], and eventually involved all of the [[HousesTelarus Houses of Telarus]].
