Each of the six Houses of [[Telarus]] has a detachment of loyal house guards serving as part of the [[Ironnesse]] City Guard, per the terms of the [[TreatyoftheWell Treaty of the Well]]. These guard are only lightly armed and armored, but are well trained. The House of Brabham Guard are well trained with a short sword and buckler. They are loyal first to the House of Brabham, and secondly to the city.>>
