=====Dirty Mike’s Eatery=====
Owned and operated by [[MikeMcLouden Dirty Mike]], a big rough looking man. Always wears a dirty apron and women’s garters hold his sleeves. The reputation of his establishment is as well earned as well known.
The food is always excellent and there is always a line of customers from when he opens in the morning until he pushes customers away and locks his door in the evening. There is one price (1 Gold) and he makes one dish each day. You pay as you enter the room, you receive a plate of food and find a seat wherever you can. You better have your own knife, fork, and spoon because there are none available. Once your plate is empty – out or you will be moved out to make room for others.
When finished you are expected to dump any excess food (VERY rare) into one barrel and then the plate is dropped in a barrel of water. The plates are pulled out of the water barrel, wiped with a cloth and loaded with food for the next person in line.
Complaining about any thing being dirty gets you thrown out and banned from the Eatery. This is policy is backed by all the city guards, and the nobles…the less people that can eat there the easier it is for them to get to the food. Mike doesn’t give any one any special treatment.
There are a number of people employed behind the scenes cooking, cleaning, etc. They are very very loyal to Mike. Mike actually gives each a share of the take. The more Mike makes the more they make. No one has left his employment for over 7 years. There are two servers that serve the plates as the patrons enter and pay.
