Air Ships
Since the building of the first airship, the Terone in 288, these flying sailing ships have become the main mode of inter-island travel in Yrazul. Built from the rare Floatwood and powered by Soaring Stone, airships have dominated trade and travel in the skies of Yrazul. Paquena is known as the finest builders of air ships in the world.
Airships were invented upon Belanthor.
Travel by Airship is expensive, and beyond the means of most people.
Because of the constant direction of the winds, it is faster and easier (and thus less expensive) to travel from the Windward Isles to the Leeward Isles than to go the other way.
